Grand Theft Auto fans are getting hyped about the upcoming GTA 6 as more information comes out, but it seems like some rumors are just that — rumors.
Last year, Rockstar Games fell victim to major leaks that showed off the new game’s visuals and confirmed that there are two main protagonists, one male and one female. This went along with previous rumors that the story was going to have a Bonnie and Clyde-inspired element.
Since then, fans have been wondering who will voice the two main characters. One rumor was that actress Leslie Lluvet was going to star in GTA 6, and she recently commented on the speculations.
Is Leslie Lluvet voicing the GTA 6 protagonist?
A since-deleted project was recently spotted on actor Reggie Talley’s resume. Before it was removed, eagle-eyed gamers saw that Talley had listed FIREBALL on his resume, where it also said that it was being developed by Rockstar.
It’s still up in the air if Talley will be a voice in GTA 6. But fans have already moved on to another rumor surrounding Lluvet. As the rumors continued to spread, it appeared that some GTA players reached out to Lluvet about the possibility until she finally wrote about the rumor on her Instagram story.
“I’m getting bombarded with messages on the new Grand Theft Auto game,” she wrote. “I’m not Lucia, y’all. I’m Zenya from Far Cry 6. Stop messaging me, people.”
This all but confirms that Lluvet is not voicing the protagonist in Grand Theft Auto 6, although it’s also possible that she’s just trying to avoid any spoilers. But in all seriousness, it’s currently impossible to know who will voice the two main characters in GTA 6.
In fact, we don’t even know who the main protagonists are, either.
“For all we know, these names could be just a placeholder, and their looks could be changed drastically too,” one fan wrote on
Reddit. “People here forget that what we saw in the leaks is just a test build, a lot can change from there to the final product.”
