Kingzone DragonX stomp Damwon Gaming in LCK Spring Playoffs

Kingzone DragonX is moving to round three after demolishing Damwon Gaming in three quick games.

Kingzone is not playing around. The squad had one of the strongest performances of the season against Damwon and are now advancing in the LCK Spring Playoffs.

Game one was all about the team fights. Kingzone drafted a team fight composition and executed the strategy to perfection.

Damwon was relying on Jang “Nuguri” Ha-gwon to carry the team, but the top laner couldn’t respond to Kingzone’s immense pressure. In the end, Kingzone took the enemy nexus with a dominant score of 19 kills to only two deaths.

It became clear after game one that Park “TusiN” Jong-ik, Heo “PawN” Won-seok, and Kim “Rascal” Kwang-hee’s skills would be determining factors against Damwon.

In game two, Kingzone chose a creative strategy with Kim “Deft” Hyuk-kyu on Morgana and TusiN on Pyke. The Morgana pick allowed Deft to stay in lane on his own while TusiN roamed around the map freely looking for picks. Four minutes into the game, the support was already making plays and setting map vision.

TusiN and PawN showed how strong they are with their assertive and aggressive plays. Kingzone had an impeccable game two and completed the victory at 26 minutes.

Damwon continued to pin all of their hopes on Nuguri, who seemed to remain calm even after the two losses. Nuguri and company found some early picks in game three in the bottom lane, showing at least some signs of life.

Rascal made sure to destroy Damwon’s dreams with aggressive teleports to the bottom lane. The top laner went all-in on Kennen and had the enemy players running.

The Kingzone squad was so confident that jungler Moon “Cuzz” Woo-chan was given the opportunity to steal an elemental drake without any backup. Kingzone was simply too good, and Damwon was out of options no matter the approach they took. Rascal and PawN were the heroes of game three and sealed the final victory.

The LCK Spring Playoffs continue in round three when Kingzone will face SK Telecom T1.
