There’s a brand new assault rifle for players in Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 and Warzone 2.0, here’s how to unlock the Chimera AR.

Warzone 2.0, a powerful rapid-fire option for players who like their ARs effective at both mid and short ranges. There are three ways to unlock this weapon depending on how you prefer to play the game.
How to unlock the Chimera AR
You can retrieve the new assault rifle in two different ways. One is through a weapon quest and the other is through the store. The second method is the most straightforward and simple, which involves purchasing either the Dark Skies Bundle or Year of the Rabbit bundles to immediately enjoy your brand new Chimera AR. The first method, acquiring it through a weapon quest, is somewhat more difficult. However, the weapon quest is more easily done in
Modern Warfare 2
than in Warzone 2.0. The weapon quest required for this weapon has two steps. Firstly, extract the Chimera AR from Building 21 in DMZ, then get two operator kills in 16 different matches. It’s certainly worth the effort, given that some of the game’s best players are already finding uses for it.
In Modern Warfare 2, this is most easily done by extracting the weapon in DMZ and then hopping into a match, collecting two AR kills, and then disconnecting and repeating the process 15 more times. You don’t need to play the match out, just collect the kills and leave. For Warzone 2.0-exclusive players, the easiest kills are going to be AFK players who drop at the end of the plane’s run, but it’s not hard to get 2 operator eliminations in a normal game, it’s just a longer process to unlock.
