Hogwarts Legacy is set to release in 2023, but Harry Potter fans can start prepping by picking their house in advance.Â
The lingering hype around Hogwarts Legacy suggests that the game’s release will be a smashing hit. Players are already jogging their memory by re-reading the books and going on Harry Potter movie marathons. The buildup towards the release is exciting and the devs are also pitching in now that the game is a few months away.Â
Warner Bros. has opened player applications to connect their Harry Potter fan club accounts with Hogwarts Legacy. Here’s what it means.
The Harry Potter fan club website existed way before Hogwarts Legacy was announced. Through the website, players could officially get sorted into their houses, wand and find out their Patronus. The quizzes are as close as possible to the magical sorting hat, allowing Potterheads to live their Hogwarts dreams in muggle life.Â
There are three quizzes in total to determine a person’s house, wand, and Patronus. The website asks personality-based questions to find the Patronus that aligns with the player. Once completed, the results can’t be changed unless you create a new account.
True Harry Potter fans already have their house and wands sorted, so they can now connect it to the game before it comes out. This way, you’d instantly start in your house lobby instead of doing the sorting process all over again.
Players can use a code to migrate their Harry Potter fan club profile into Hogwarts Legacy.
Like any Hogwarts student, you’ll need a wand and a Hogwarts house to progress in school life. But if you’re registered with the iconic fan club, you can bring your wizarding credentials into the game without having to get sorted or pick a wand again. Here’s how to do it:Â
It’s worth connecting accounts right now instead of waiting, as early sorting comes with extra rewards. Clicking ahead of release will get you a Beaked Skull Mask to wear within the game. By linking a Harry Potter Fan Club account, players unlock a House Fan-atic School Robe, exclusive to fan club members.
