Pokemon GO is celebrating the release of Pokemon Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl with a two-part event.
In true Pokemon fashion, Pokemon GO is planning two separate events for each game. Brilliant Diamond is from November 16 to the 18th. The Shining Pearl portion is from November 18 to November 21.
There are some things happening throughout the entirety of the event. The distance required to hatch an egg has been decreased by 50% when using an Incubator. Eggs put into Super Incubators will hatch in 33% of the distance. Mime Jr. is also becoming available worldwide, found in seven-kilometer eggs. Along with the usually region-locked Mime Jr., trainers can also find Budew, Bonsly, Happiny, and Riolu in seven-kilometer eggs.
Certain Pokemon will also spawn more during the event:
The Sinnoh region starter Pokemon Chimchar, Piplup, and Turtwig will be available with hats that look similar to those of Diamond and Pearl protagonists Lucas and Dawn. In the wild, the starters will have Lucas hats. They will sport Dawn hats from Field Research.
Here are raid Pokemon to keep an eye out for during the event:

Catch 2 Trutwig | Dawn hat Turtwig encounter |
