Soon after the announcement, however, the game was delayed. When the game was first delayed, developers gave a vague release date of 2022. Thankfully, Gotham Knights finally has an actual release date.
The brief announcement was made on Twitter, catching fans by surprise. Here is what’s known about the game so far.
What is the plot of Gotham Knights?
In Gotham Knights’ universe, Batman is dead. The “Batman family” must pick up the slack by solving mysteries in the city and taking down popular villains from the comics.
This action RPG is said to be open-world. Players will be able to explore Gotham City and fight crime when they come across it. There are options for both solo play or co-op with one other player.

Each character has a different backstory, personality, and set of abilities. They are all familiar sidekicks to Batman pulled from the comiccs.
