In a recent match, FaZe’s AWPer Helvijs “broky” Saukants proved that tabbing out of the game isn’t a reason good enough to perform poorly after he shut down Team Liquid’s Keith “NAF” Markovic in an AWP no-scope.

The opening round of BLAST Premier Spring’s Group C saw FaZe clan go up against Team Liquid for a slot in upper finals. All eyes were on Gabriel “FalleN” Toledo and Russel “Twistzz” Van Dulken, as both have were freshly recruited in their respective teams. However, it was broky who stole the spotlight with two AWP kills followed by an absurd no-scope after he mistakenly tabbed out of the game.

Nuke started in FaZe’s favor as the team managed to win consecutive rounds bringing the score to 7-1. Ultimately, Team Liquid threw the tactical strategies out the window and tried to execute a hard push towards B ramp. Olof “olofmeister” Kajbjer finished off two players, leaving the rest to broky’s unforgiving AWP. The young star shut down FalleN and Jonathan “EliGE” Jablonowski before they could set foot on ramp.

The round seemed done and dusted until a slip of finger pulled broky out of the game, resulting in NAF jumping on him through the railing. Broky went AFK for a beat, with zero hopes of completing his triple kill-streak. However, the player bounced back with an insane reaction time, taking down NAF in a crazy AWP no-scope.

A second’s delay could’ve earned NAF a free kill. broky’s point of view showed him as a lifeless shooting target. The video clip ended with the entire team laughing at the ridiculous play.

The 19-year old finished the match with 1.49 rating, highest on the server. His performance remained consistent in both the maps, helping FaZe kick Team Liquid out of the upper bracket. However, it was his recovery from a minor set back that proved that he’s a great aimer, capable of making incredible plays.

FaZe destroys Team Liquid in debut with Twistzz at BLAST spring

FaZe had entered the server with a fresh rifler Twistzz against Team Liquid’s gelled-up squad. However, the North American team didn’t allow Team Liquid any space to breathe, as they pounced over them in 2-0 fashion.

The Jake “Stewie2K” Yip-led squad had a good showing on Dust 2 but didn’t even try to put up a fight on the second map. Thanks to broky’s deadly AWP, Nuke finished off 16-1, favoring FaZe.

FaZe will now compete against NaVi for a slot in the Group C final.
