f0rest rejoins GeT_RiGhT and former NiP teammates with Dignitas
Dignitas has announced the signings of four members of the legendary Ninjas in Pyjamas roster through a post on their official Twitter account.
Dignitas revealed that the organization has signed Patrik “f0rest” Lindberg, Christopher “GeT_RiGhT” Alesund, Adam “friberg” Friberg, and Richard “Xizt” Landström to the team’s new Counter-Strike: Global Offensive roster. This returns Dignitas to CSGO for the first time since dissolving its CSGO division in August 2018.
The signing confirms the rumors earlier this month that the organization was looking to reunite NiP’s original core.
In addition to the NiP quartet, Dignitas also announced the signing of AWPer Håkon “hallzerk” Fjærli. As of now, the Dignitas roster includes these players:
- Patrik “f0rest” Lindberg
- Christopher “GeT_RiGhT” Alesund
- Adam “friberg” Friberg
- Richard “Xizt” Landström
- Håkon “hallzerk” Fjærli

With these four players, Ninjas in Pyjamas posted one of the most impressive runs in CSGO history. The team amassed an 87-0 winning streak and won a slew of live events from 2013 to 2015. NiP made it to the grand finals of the first five CSGO majors and won ESL One Cologne 2014.
NiP enjoyed its greatest successes with Robin “Fifflaren” Johansson as the fifth player on the lineup. Fifflaren has been largely retired since 2014. Though he occasionally plays in official games with short-lived teams, most of his work in CSGO these days is as a caster and analyst.
None of the four active players from that era of NiP have enjoyed particularly great success in the years since. f0rest and GeT_RiGhT both remained with NiP until very recently, but the team has struggled with inconsistency for years since. Xizt left the organization in 2018 and spent a decent year with Fnatic before being benched in August. Friberg split his time between OpTic Gaming and Heroic, but couldn’t emulate NiP’s results.
It is not yet known where the new Dignitas will make its debut, but the team has been rumored as a participant in the upcoming North American league “B Site.” The league should debut sometime around April 2020, as reports say that it will overlap with ESL Pro League Season 11.
