Since two of Cynthia’s Pokemon are weak to fairy attacks and three to ice types, it makes sense to bring in Pokemon with strong fairy and ice attacks. A Pokemon that knows the move Freeze Dry is almost a must-have, making Glalie a popular choice in BDSP.
A second strategy to keep in mind is using Pokemon that can burn opponents. Lucario and Garchomp’s attack stats will be cut in half if burned, making this a great way to overpower Cynthia’s Pokemon squad.
