Fortnite’s Season 10 was teased during the final day of the Fortnite World Cup Finals in New York.

Along with the announcement of the Fortnite Championship Series, Epic Games has teased the upcoming season of Fortnite with an image that suggests the return of the Dusty Depot. A day later another image was published, and it seems to show the return of The Visitor.

The first image teaser shows what is likely a logo for the next season, with a big X symbolizing the number ten and a caption “Think Back.” Three hangars iconic to Dusty Depot are placed in front of the X.

Dusty Depot, one of the game’s original map locations, was hit by a meteor and mostly destroyed during Season 4, and then renamed to Dusty Divot. Since then, the map was known to have a meteor crater and a research lab, so some players are assuming some sort of time traveling could be implemented in the game to bring the old map back.

The second teaser image again shows the X, but this time with a silhouette of some sort of mecha being in the front with the caption “Look Forward.” Although the silhouette alone doesn’t show much, the image features a symbol that seems to be the same as the one on the arm of The Visitor.

Just like Dusty Depot, The Visitor also comes from Season 4. In fact, he’s found inside the meteor that previously wracked the map. In-game, it’s a cosmetic outfit that players could earn by completing blockbuster challenges during seasonal play, believed to be inspired by the Fett family of mercenaries from the Star Wars universe.

Since The Visitor is a time traveler, the community seems to be reading the pattern of the teasers and assuming there will be a new mechanic that will let them travel through time, at least from Season 4 to Season 10 and back.

The new season will be launching on August 1, and players are likely to see more teasers in the days left before it goes live, perhaps suggesting more things returning to the way they used to be.
