Did Pokemon Scarlet and Violet reveal the next region?

One player found what seems to be a hidden clue about the next Pokemon region in Pokemon Scarlet and Violet.

The Pokemon franchise has taken inspiration from real places to create the regions in the game. Famously, Kanto is based in the Japanese region of the same name. Paldea, the location for Pokemon Scarlet and Violet, is inspired by the Iberian Peninsula, which consists of Spain and Portugal. Pokemon also took inspiration from the United States and the United Kingdom.

What is the next Pokemon region?

The ninth Pokemon generation just started, but some players believe that Pokemon Scarlet and Violet is hinting at the region. Pokemon is no stranger to planting small easter eggs in the game. The Easter egg in question is a picture of Uluru in the art classroom at the Naranja/Uva Academy. Uluru is a sandstone monolith located in Australia.

This picture has led players to speculate that the next region could be inspired by Australia and New Zealand. It is an interesting idea, especially considering the diverse wildlife in these countries. Pokemon could have its first kangaroo-inspired Pokemon in the future.

It’s still early to start thinking about the next Pokemon region. It’s been less than a month since the release of Pokemon Scarlet and Violet. The game recently introduced ranked battles and the Tera Raid Battles, so players can anticipate more events in the game.

Is there a Gen 10 in Pokemon?

The tenth generation of Pokemon won’t be announced for at least three more years, the time between Pokemon Sword and Shield and Pokemon Scarlet and Violet. The ninth generation of Pokemon is on its first installment, and more content about Paldea is to be expected.

The next generation could take longer. Pokemon is currently facing backlash due to the bugs and failures in Pokemon Scarlet and Violet. Players believe that Pokemon is focusing on releasing games fast instead of delivering a high-quality product.
