DickStacy leaves Renegades shortly after joining

After only a month on Renegades, one of Counter-Strike: Global Offensive’s infamous bad boys is looking for a new job.

Oliver “DickStacy” Tierney has left or been released by the Renegades organization, according to a Tweet from the team’s official Twitter account and an official press post on the team’s blog.

WIN.gg reported yesterday that ex-Order member Jordan “Hatz” Bajic had joined the Renegades ESEA roster and paid his league dues, while DickStacy’s dues remained unpaid. With DickStacy’s departure, the Renegades roster now looks like this:

Renegades will debut at IEM Katowice Qualifiers

DisckStacy spent only a month with the team, moving to Renegades after the original RNG roster was bought out by 100 Thieves. He played only three matches with Renegades at the ESL Pro League Season 10 Finals. Renegades finished in 12th place out of 16 teams after drawing Astralis in the first round. The Danish roster pummeled Renegades with their famous roster:

Renegades was able to take down the Sharks Esports team that almost defeated Astralis on Nuke, but was ultimately unable to beat eventual EPL winners mousesports in a best of three.

DickStacy had his plays at times during the finals, including an impressive triple kill against mousesports on Inferno. But overall there’s been little impact from the player apart from attempting to put a NSFW phallic symbol in his Major sticker signature.

If Renegades has ditched DickStacy this early in the roster’s lifecycle, it could indicate a personal issue, but no specifics in this regard have been made public.

If it was DickStacy’s decision to be removed from the Renegades team, then he must have the offer of a lifetime from another team. However the likelihood of this being DickStacy’s decision is low. Team’s don’t bench popular players that attract massive fan attention for no reason.

Hatz is an interesting addition to the Renegades roster. After spending time almost exactly two years on ORDER, the 21-year-old makes his move to a top tier organization at the prime of his career.

Unlike DickStacy, Hatz clearly chose to leave his old organization. The player posted a heartfelt goodbye on Twitlonger as soon as his move to Renegades was announced.

Ultimately, fans will have to wait and see how the Renegades fare at the 2020 IEM closed qualifiers starting on Janurary 14 without DickStacy’s minimal firepower. are in Rengades favor, predicting that the team will perform well even with Order adding Ricky “Rickeh” Mulholland and with several other upcoming Aussie teams in attendance.
