CSGO star s1mple is now a playable hero in Raid: Shadow Legends

Oleksandr “s1mple” Kostyliev will soon become available as a playable character in Raid: Shadow Legends.

As part of a partnership with Natus Vincere, s1mple has been added as a playable character to the mobile game. This will see the Counter-Strike: Global Offensive star become a playable character in a game he’s not actually known for. The newest legendary champion will become available for free on December 1.

s1mple’s legendary champion is an archer with area-of-effect abilities. He’ll be portrayed as a High Elf character wielding a bow. His ranged character type is probably a reference to s1mple’s skill with the AWP.

The Raid: Shadow Legends development team worked directly with s1mple to determine how his character would play. s1mple commented on the partnership in the official press release.

“It’s been an incredible experience seeing myself become a RAID: Shadow Legends champion, especially one that is built to symbolize my talents in CS:GO. I can’t wait for my fans to get a chance to add this character to their team and always hit their marks!” s1mple said.

s1mple, who has done it all in CSGO, is the latest esports star to appear in Raid: Shadow Legends. Former battle royale star player and current streamer Tyler “Ninja” Blevins is also a playable character in the game.

How to get s1mple in Raid: Shadow Legends

s1mple can be acquired in Raid: Shadow Legends as a reward in a two-month event.

As part of Natus Vincere’s partnership with the game, every player can get s1mple’s avatar for free. The game will hold a two-month event with the legendary champion as the reward. s1mple will become available on the seventh day of the event.

The details for the s1mple Raid: Shadow Legends event have not been announced, but even brand-new players will be able to access it. If you’re a CSGO fan with an interest in mobile games, this is the perfect opportunity to start playing.

Raid: Shadow Legends is a turn-based RPG available on mobile platforms. The game is free-to-play with in-game microtransactions. Players assemble teams of champions to fight monsters and conquer dungeons. The game is available in the Google Play and iOS app stores.
