It’s a lucky day for Crypto players in Apex Legends. The surveillance expert is finally getting his own Heirloom in the new Warrior collection event.

Defiance rolled in with a brand new legend, the explosive Mad Maggie, as well as some significant map changes. The new character has found her footing in the roster, and players already want a new batch of in-game cosmetics. The Warrior collection event brings just that.

The latest Apex Legend collection event has plenty of stuff for players to sink their teeth with a new mythic item at the center. The Warriors collection event will run from March 29 until April 12.

Crypto’s Heirloom finally revealed in Apex Legends

Each collection event brings a new mythic item, and EA has decided to show Crypto mains some love in Season 12. The surveillance assasin is the latest legend to get his own Heirloom set.

Heirlooms are ultra-rare and tough to acquire items in Apex Legends. Only a few characters have their Heirloom sets released, so it’s a big deal for Crypto players to have their own custom item. EA has unveiled a cutting-edge Baiwon blade for the recon legend. The blade is built like an automatic katana in signature Crypto colors.

The katana looks deadly, but it’s the custom animation that has caught players’ attention. The Baiwon blade hides an old image of Crypto’s family. The legend can pull out the picture of his foster sisters, Mila and Mystic, from inside the blade. This unique feature makes this katana worthy of being a special Heirloom.

How to unlock Crypto’s heirloom in Apex Legends

Purchasing all 24 items in the Warrior’s collection will unlock Crypto’s Heirloom. This is the easiest way to get your hands on the rare item.

If you don’t unlock the 24 cosmetics, Crypto’s blade will be placed into the Mythic store, available for 150 heirloom shards. Those who can’t afford to shop the shards can still cop the coveted blade by opening Apex packs. A dedicated Apex Legends player should be able to get their hands on the rare item by just playing.

EA introduced an update, which ensured that a player could not open more than 500 Apex Packs without receiving shards. It’s a long shot but the only cheaper way to claim the Crypto’s Heirloom.

Other than the rare item, the Warrior event brings a 9v9 mode Control for two weeks, a new arena map, new skins, rewards, and store items.
