Apex Legends reveals new legend in Metamorphosis short

Apex Legends dropped a new Stories From the Outlands short that gave a sneak peek at the next legend to drop into the battle royale.

The story, “Metamorphosis,” is an origin story that shows new legend Seer being born. He was a “cursed child,” said the narrator, with eyes that “draw us all to the flame.”

“Refuse the child’s gaze or be undone. One glance will reduce a mountain to dust. A king to a beggar and an ocean to a desert,” the video explains.

The unique animation style shows a vibrant and elegant look, leaving a lot about Seer left to mystery. But what could be seen is Seer’s glowing blue eyes and a pendant that appears to turn into a blue orb that can be shaped into various objects. Seer’s abilities still remain largely unknown.

One thing that fans can see, however, is Seer’s unique design. This has been a major draw for the game’s community since Seer was first revealed to the public on July 20. With glam geometric armor, an exposed midriff, and snake bite piercings, Seer has a one-of-a-kind look that’s not often seen in competitive games.

When Seer was first revealed yesterday, fans went crazy for the design. This included one particular part of the newest legend: his booty. After one Twitter user tweeted out a screenshot of Seer’s backside, another begged for it to be real. The original user exclaimed that it’s from Respawn Entertainment’s website

Seer will be dropped on August 3 as part of the new season, which is called “Emergence.” The season also comes with a new weapon, the Rampage LMG, as well as changes to World’s Edge. But the biggest draw is still Seer, with many fans dying to know what exactly the stylish legend can do on the battlefield.

“With microdrones and an artist’s eye, Seer spots opportunities that other Legends might miss, and seizes them in the most beautiful way he can,” the site states.

So far, nothing else has been revealed about the mysterious character.
