Popular Twitch streamer Kaitlyn “Amouranth” Siragusa was banned from the streaming platform after exposing herself on camera.

Known for her revealing cosplays and IRL streaming, Amouranth has over 1.2 million followers on Twitch. During a stream on September 8, Amouranth looked to be innocently playing with her dog and chatting with her viewers when her dress shifted around, revealing her genitals on camera multiple times.

While it appeared to be an accident, Amouranth also happened to not be wearing underwear, leading some to wonder if it was a purposeful stunt.

Either way, Twitch has a strict policy against sexually explicit and suggestive content. The streaming platform also doesn’t allow clothing that is “intended to be sexually suggestive.” Even though this is stated in the Community Guidelines, Amouranth’s account remained active for 12 hours after the incident despite the moment immediately being shared across social media.

As the clip continued to spread, Reddit users speculated that Twitch might not do anything about it. It’s been a complaint in recent years that Twitch allegedly hands out lighter sentences to certain female streamers, often allowing for transgressions against the company’s guidelines.

Amouranth’s Twitch accounts gets suspended

But Amouranth’s Twitch account was indeed shut down after 12 hours. It’s not yet known for how long she will be suspended from streaming, but in the past, similar offenses have warranted bans over 30 days long.

Twitch partner Nichole “Badbunny” was suspended in April for exposing herself on stream. Twitch banned her for only three days after she “exposed her crotch area” when getting up from the couch during a live stream. A screenshot showed her partially exposed as she lifts her legs up.

Many speculate that Amouranth will also receive a light punishment, but neither Twitch nor Amouranth have made any public statement over the incident as of this writing.

Amouranth’s IRL streams had an average viewer count of 2,000 last month. Her popularity has led to a successful Patreon where she has over 800 patreons. The highest tier on her Patreon is $850. Anyone who signs up for this level receives an article of clothing along with a digital photograph of her wearing it, along with access to her private Snapchat and photoshoots.
