The Ultimate Ninja Storm series is famous for its absurdly massive roster, and Connections will add even more new ninjas to the galaxy-sized character select screen.

Connections is CyberConnect2’s attempt to revitalize the franchise and keep up to date with the ongoing Boruto manga and anime. That mostly means new story and single-player content, but it also means adding some fresh new faces to the game.

The developer is now updating the historic series with the newest characters from the latest Boruto arcs, and that includes multiple Baryon mode characters.

If you’re curious about which ninjas made the cut in Naruto x Boruto Ultimate Ninja Storm Connections, here are all the new characters confirmed for the new game coming out later this year.

Developer CyberConnect2 and publisher Bandai Namco have confirmed the following ten characters for the newest entry.

  • Ashura Otsutsuki Naruto Uzumaki (Baryon Mode)
  • Boro
  • Boruto Uzumaki (Karma)
  • Delta
  • Indra Otsutsuki
  • Jigen
  • Kawaki
  • Koji Kashin
  • Naruto Uzumaki (Baryon Mode)
  • Sasuke Uchiha (Supporting Kage)

This brings the already-expansive roster up to more than 130 ninjas, with more possibly being confirmed. That number also doesn’t include assist-only characters, which further boosts the roster.

The standout inclusions include Baryon versions of both Naruto Uzumaki and Shura Otsutsuki. Fans will likely appreciate seeing more of the unique form in action.

Kawaki Multiple Kara members, including Delta, Boro, Koji Kashin, and Jigen, will probably serve as the new original story’s antagonists. Lastly, Boruto’s new Karma mode will finally appear in-game alongside new friend Kawaki.

Notably, the game has not confirmed the presence of post-timeskip versions of Boruto, Sarada, Kawaki, or any other younger generation characters. Since the second act of Boruto hasn’t officially started, they will likely be held back for the new installment.

However, if CyberConnect2 confirms DLC support for the game, one-eyed Boruto could make an appearance in Connections.
