Although betting might seem like a simple game of luck at first glance, to a keen observer well-versed with the team dynamics and rankings, it’s a game of skill. Living in the age of information has its benefits, even your hobbies can benefit from having all the info you need at your fingertips.

For those trying to improve their analytics game, or those just starting out in betting on CSGO, one question always remains; which team should I put my money on? Thankfully, nowadays, we have the hard data to answer that.

These are three teams that are historically among the safest bets, thanks to their success in both regional and international tournaments.!

Natus Vincere

Well, that one was obvious, wasn’t it? It’s hard to overstate how good 2021 has been for the CIS squad.

Winning S-tier events and Majors like they’re smurfing, having the best player of all time on their roster, adding a top rookie…it seems that everything is going the way of Na`Vi nowadays. No wonder both professional players and casters have dubbed 2021 as “the year of CIS CSGO.”

Throughout the entire year, Natus Vincere have been steadily building up steam, which culminated with the team’s victory in the PGL Stockholm Major. Things don’t seem to be slowing down in 2022, though.

Another thing to look out for is Na`Vi playing on their map of choice. Of course, the squad are experts on pretty much any map but, believe it or not, these guys can play better than perfection on Nuke. Sporting an incredible win rate of 87% on that map, NaVi has gone nuclear with an 18-map win streak on Nuke this year, only broken up by Team Liquid in the BLAST Premiere: World Finals.

So if you happen to see the words “Natus Vincere” and “Nuke” together, it’s worth taking a good look at the betting line.

Team Vitality

The new titans of French CSGO, Team Vitality are in a bittersweet spot right now. The team is currently ranked as one of the best in the world and looked strong in the second half of 2021 but is reportedly set to make some huge roster changes in the near future.

Despite an awkward start to the year, the team has placed top-three in most of the tournaments it has played in during recent months. This current roster could take over in 2022, but the one that’s reportedly coming together would be one of the most star-studded squads in CSGO history.

Claiming the top prize in IEM Winter 2021 was clearly not enough for the French squad. The team is currently coming off a third-place finish in the 2021 BLAST World Finals with that loss coming at the hands of Na`Vi. This may have the organization set to make moves to try and take the top spot away from their CIS rivals.

This current squad is a strong one and will likely be the favorites against almost any opponents they come across. But the new squad, if it comes together, is must-watch.

Team Liquid

Now this one might be a bit of a surprise. Natus Vincere and Team Vitality are universally regarded as the top two CSGO teams in the world right now, so what is the struggling Team Liquid doing here?

For Team Liquid, 2021 hasn’t been the best of years. Once the absolute powerhouse of North American Counter-Strike, the team’s 2019 performance seems to be an eternity ago.

Still, the team managed to show some flashes of its past greatness in its final outings of 2021. Their carefree play style has netted them a couple of surprising victories in the final events of the 2021 season. The question now is what the 2022 roster will look like.

Team Liquid’s ability to assemble talent and turn them into winning teams is well-established. The organization will likely be able to put together a very strong lineup for 2022 and will likely remain the kings of NA regional tournaments moving forward.
