xQc and Adept confirm breakup after heated GTA RP argument

Fans of Felix “xQc” Lengyel have been worried about the streamer’s love life for some time. Now, they know a little more about what’s been going on behind the scenes.

xQc’s living situation has been a bit of a mess lately. After his home was broken into, xQc has been attempting to find a permanent living situation. And now it seems that the stress has carried over into his relationship with Sam “Adept” as well. A fight had caused Adept to leave, and xQc hinted that the two may have even broken up. 

In a recent stream, xQc confirmed with fans that he had argued with Adept, causing her to leave. 

“I don’t want to talk about it that much,” xQc said, sounding flustered. “Me and Sammy got into a little bit of a fight. It is what it is.” 

After the revelation, xQc didn’t offer any more details about the argument or its outcome. This left fans very curious about xQc’s relationship with the fellow streamer. And fans finally got their answer on August 7 when xQc decided to tweet about Adept. 

He added that nobody should harass Adept, who still has his respect.

This tweet appeared to confirm that xQc and Adept were officially broken up. His fans responded with condolences and support, noting that the situation appeared serious in part due to a lack of caps in xQc’s tweet. A lot of people were sad to hear about the breakup. 

Adept also spoke up about the breakup on Twitter. She tweeted that she “lives with a clear conscience” since she knows the whole truth and what she has experienced, despite what some trolls may say. This was followed up with a tweet that cleared some things up for concerned followers. 

“I spoke to xQc about this tweet and apparently people are trying to use this tweet as an implication that Felix physically abused me in some way. That’s not okay. I will make it clear that didn’t happen and anyone accusing him of that will be blocked/reported. Be respectful,” Adept warned. 

Adept explained that the original tweet was just her attempt at keeping the situation private. 

Are xQc and Adept dating?

It currently seems that xQc and Adept have broken up and are no longer dating, although it’s not clear exactly why.

Adept and xQc confirmed their relationship by accident in March 2021 after pretending to just be roommates for quite some time. Throughout their relationship, the couple has had some intense arguments. This includes a chat they had while playing GTA RP.

In the argument, it sounded like xQc was unable to switch between his RP character and his own behavior. Adept said that he was acting like his character while the two were not streaming. 

Fans of the couple felt that Adept was “childish” for making xQc unmute, saying it’s none of the public’s business what was happening between the two streamers in their private lives. But others were curious what xQc had apparently done to Adept when the two weren’t streaming. Many people felt that the argument was normal for a couple to have. The only difference was how many people were listening.

For now, it doesn’t seem like xQc and Adept are actively dating. But a lot of fans are hoping the two streamers will get back together in the future.
