Diablo 4 is introducing a new antagonist, Lilith, the First Mother and Queen of Succubi. Here is everything you need to know about Lilith before facing her.

Diablo 4 is projected to be one, if not the biggest, release of 2023. Players have been waiting over ten years for this game, so expectations are quite high.

Fans of the game are familiar with Lilith, a prominent character in the game’s lore. Lilith finally gets her place front and center as she takes the role of the main villain in the game.

Who is Lilith the daughter of in Diablo 4?

Lilith is the daughter of Mephisto, also known as the Lord of Hatred and sister of Lucion.

Who is Lilith’s husband in Diablo 4?

Tired of the Eternal Conflict, the war between High Heavens and Burning Hell, Lilith decided to take an angel prisoner to amuse herself. The angel, named Inarius, echoed her sentiment about the war, and Lilith saw an opportunity.

With Inarius’ help, Lilith stole the Worldstone and created a new world called Sanctuary. This new world, free of war, became the home to Lilith and Inarius’ offspring, the nephalem. Protected by Lilith, the nephalem started to grow strong to the point where they became a threat to both High Heavens and Burning Hell.

The opposing forces put their conflict to rest and focused on alienating Lilith’s children. The slaughtering of her offspring drove Lilith to madness, who then promised to wage war on both Heaven and Hell. Inarius had no other choice than exile Lilith to the Void, a temporary prison, as we see her return to Sanctuary in Diablo 4.

In a world where there are no more angels or demons to stop her, Lilith can finally regain her strength and fulfill her promise.

It is unclear if Inarius will make an appearance in the game, perhaps looking to end it all for good.
