When does Valorant Episode 3 Act 2 begin? New release date

The first act of Episode 3 is coming to an end, which means ranks are locking soon. Luckily for those still looking to climb, the developer has pushed back the release of the game’s next act by two weeks.

Ranking up in Valorant became harder than ever after the patch 3.0 updates. Players found it more challenging to tackle enemies who have crisp aim and excel at managing the economy. Due to these changes, many players found themselves “hard stuck” at one rank. The recent development provides players with a second chance to boost their level before it locks.

We think Act II is gonna be a banger, but we’ve hit some constraints while getting it to the quality bar you deserve. So, we’re slightly adjusting Act start timings. Here’s the new schedule and what it means for you:

Anticipating each act’s end and start date is pretty easy, thanks to consistent release timings and Valorant leakers. Episode 3: Act 1 was set to release on August 24, according to reputable data miner Floxxayy, but the developer has now updated the schedule.

When is Valorant Episode 3 Act 2 releasing?

Riot Games has announced that Valorant’s next act will now release on September 8.

While the delay is undoubtedly disappointing for fans eagerly waiting for new updates, it’s a treat for those who aren’t done grinding the current battle pass. Players will get two more weeks to play through the challenges and missions to unlock battle pass cosmetics. This is also a great chance to climb ranks faster and prepare to achieve a higher level in the next act.

Patch 3.0 brought weapon upgrades, agent changes, Valorant’s first collaboration in Sentinels of Light, and a brand new agent, Kay/O. It was a bulky patch that rocked the Valorant meta, but Riot Games isn’t holding back. The developer has promised that the next act will be a “banger,” and leaks suggest that may well be true.

What’s coming in Valorant Episode 3 Act 2?

Valorant’s map pool will most likely get an update in the new patch for Valorant Episode 3 Act 2. The last addition was made on April 27, and since then there hasn’t been a major update to the game.

Valorant leaker Cynprel previously pointed to a new location in Night. Market that will be the next map. The scenic landscape covered in greens and greys looks like Breeze, but there isn’t a location quite as similar to the Night. Market one on the fifth map. Another teaser was spotted in the Valorant YR1 anthem, which piqued the interest of several leakers.

????Night Market Map Tease?????

This flora doesn’t quite resemble what we see on Breeze, which would be the assumption given the abundance. They look more fern-like.

-The Kingdom architecture is built into the land, which is not the case on Breeze.

Just a thought!

Apart from a new location, players are also anticipating a new agent. Leakers and data miners found a codename Sprinter after the initial leaks from YR1 Anthem that teased a hero named Deadeye. It’s unsure who the next agent will be, but it’s most likely going to be an Initiator, the least crowded agent category in Valorant.
