Valorant’s first birthday event has tons of gifts for players.

Riot Games’ shooter hit its first anniversary on June 2 and the developer is going all-out to commemorate the occasion. As part of the birthday event, players can enjoy various perks, including an event pass, squad boost, and a “Give Back” bundle.

Valorant’s beta began one year ago and since then, the game has been on the rise. According to the developer, Valorant has amassed over 14 million players and has seen over 500 million matches. Apart from that, Twitch numbers verify that Valorant is one of the most-watched first-person shooters on the market right now.

To celebrate its success, Riot Games is giving back to players.

What is Valorant Give Back Bundle?

Riot Games will roll in a custom bundle on June 22 that will include a mix of some of the best in-game cosmetics. Players can vote for their choice of weapon skins from June 2-7, and the developer will create a bundle of five according to the results. 50% of the proceeds from Weapon skins and 100% from accessories in the Give Back Bundle will go towards the Riot Games Social Impact Fund, in partnership with Impact Assets.

The developer has added Premium and the most sought-after skins in the mix. Players can grab the Reaver Vandal, Operator, Ion Phantom, Prime 2.0 Phantom and Vandal, Magepunk Ghost, and more.

Player cards and Year 1 event pass

The limited-edition YR1 set celebrates Valorant Episodes 1, 2, and 3 and can be redeemed in different ways.

Here’s how to redeem:

Any player in Valorant can unlock the year 1 pass with no prerequisites and no VP price. Players have the chance to receive items including the Episode 3 Player Card, a Gun Buddy, and more. Just play VALORANT, earn XP, and unlock.

Squad Boost earns extra XP for playing with friends

Squad boost will only run for a month, and it will allow Valorant players to earn some extra points by queuing in a lobby with friends. Queue as a tag team and get 8% extra XP, form a triple threat and get 12%, or go all the way up to a five-stack for an extra 20% XP boost. The Squad boost will end on June 26.

As part of the birthday event, Valorant’s Night. Market has returned as well. Players can shop premium skins for cheap rates from the new shop that will appear in the Valorant menu.
