Tyler1 defeats Yassuo to win Twitch Rivals LoL Draft Showdown 4
Team Tyler1 is the Twitch Rivals League of Legends Draft Showdown 4 champions.
League of Legends streamer Tyler “Tyler1” Steinkamp was captain of Team Tyler1, which faced Hammoudi “Yassuo” Abdalrhman’s Team Yassuo in the grand finals series. Team Tyler1 beat Team Lohpally in the playoffs, while Team Yassuo defeated Team TFBlade in the semifinals.
The finals were a back and forth series that saw Team Tyler1 take the first game. The next match went a little bit differently, but Team Tyler1 came back for the final match, coming out on top when it mattered most. Team Tyler1 even secured a quadra kill to solidify their domination.
The two captains took shots off the Rift as well.
Yassuo mocked Tyler1, saying he doesn’t get to Challenger rank in solo queue every time. Tyler1 wasn’t too phased. He shot back that he achieved Challenger in the ADC and
jungle
roles. The latter was quite the achievement, since Tyler1 is known for being an AD Carry who mains Draven.
In response, fans rooted for both players to compete together in Academy.
As the two loud Twitch personalities argued back and forth it soon became a screaming match. Even though Yassuo seemed to have the upperhand in the banter, Tyler1 was the one to take home the $25,000 top prize. This first place finish will most definitely not go to Tyler1’s head.
Expect both men to take shots at one another in the near future, and keep an eye out to see if this rivalry continues into the future.
