Riot’s addition of Yoru in Valorant Episode 2 may have facilitated the five-duelist lobby nightmare. But a Sentinel as deadly as Killjoy still proves that picking her is key to bagging a win in Valorant.

A tough fight becomes easier when the enemy team has Killjoy on a map filled with tight corners. Her toolkit is unforgiving on the defender’s side due to her ability to impede fast pushes. However, the genius of Germany is just as deadly on the attacker’s side.

In Valorant, Sentinels are required to support teammates from the sidelines. For aggressive plays, their abilities are rarely ever needed. However, Killjoy’s powers have the potential to expedite attacking pushes. Entering Ascent’s bomb point B is already a nuisance due to the tight B main and various openings from the defender’s side that only benefit the opponent. For example, defenders’ spawn, middle market, and stairs.

But Killjoy can cut down the enemies on B, making it easier for teammates to acquire control of the site.

This nanoswarm line up for point B stairs begins from outside the B lobby. Align yourself in the corner of the house outside B lobby and aim at the top of the entrance building. Place your crosshair on the bottom of the little antenna, but don’t jump and throw simultaneously.

Throwing here is the trickiest part. Remove jump-binds if you have any. Press the jump key first and then press left-click to throw the package. The nanoswarm will land in the middle of the stairs.

This nano swarm setup is exceptional, as the effect drops on stairs just when your teammates reach B entrance. Wait for it to drop, then activate it instantly. The nanoswarm will cut down enemies standing atop it, clearing out at least one spot for the attackers.

How long does Killjoy’s nanoswarm ability last?

Visually pleasing but highly lethal, nanoswarm can take down multiple enemies within a matter of seconds. The agent can buy the miniature Molotov for 200 creds and lock down a small area of the map with it.

Her nanoswarm is considered deadly due to its high damage. The effect lasts for a mere 4.5 seconds but is entirely able to consume enemies. A player standing in the nanoswarm for its whole course will come out dead, as it locks down the area with continuous AOE damage capable of cutting down 203 hp. The two slots for deadly molotovs make Killjoy a menace for her enemies, as she can independently lock down a site at the cost of just 400 creds.
