All teams at the 2020 League of Legends World Championship main event have played its first three games. But which players have been the most dominant so far?

The first round-robin of the Worlds group stage has been concluded and teams are now entering the final days where all four groups will be settled. Some players have come out of the first games with a lot of confidence, while some still need to prove themselves.

We will take a look at some of the best performing players so far, based on the statistics.

Rekkles has been a rock for Fnatic at Worlds 2020

Fnatic as a whole has been doing great so far at Worlds, but one player stands out based on his stats, and that is bot laner Martin “Rekkles” Larsson. The Swedish veteran has been dominant in lane together with Zdravets “Hylissang” Galabov, and it has paid off greatly.

The team was especially dominant in the bot lane against Gen.G, where they managed to shut down star ADC Park “Ruler” Jae-hyuk entirely in spite of his being considered the best bot laner at the tournament by many.

Rekkles is sitting at the highest gold differential at 10 minutes between all players in the main event with +628 gold. This stat indicates how dominant Rekkles and Hylissang have been in the early game, and it has paid off in the form of multiple wins.

ShowMaker is making a statement in the mid lane

Heo “ShowMaker” Su has to be mentioned as one of the best performing players. Together with DAMWON Gaming he has been unstoppable during the first three games and is without a doubt considered one of the favorites to lift the Summoner’s Cup.

ShowMaker is currently the proud owner of the best KDA in the tournament at a whopping 29. Behind him is Top Esports jungler Hung “Karsa” Hao-Hsuan with 19, so ShowMaker is outmatching everyone in that aspect.

The Korean mid lane talent has also played three different champions thus far, all of them with great success.

JackeyLove trying his hardest to win second Worlds trophy

Top Esports’ bot laner Yu “JackeyLove” Wen-Bo has been the most impressive player on his star-studded roster this far at Worlds. He isn’t usually the most flashy player, but he is always a consistent carry for his team.

JackeyLove has played three games of Senna and has been playing her perfectly. Many bot laners have struggled to make Senna work at Worlds, but JackeyLove isn’t one of them.

His damage dealt per minute is the highest among all players at Worlds, sitting at 751 damage. The most impressive part of this is that Senna is not known to dish out a ton of damage, but in the hands of JackeyLove, that’s not been the case.

SofM is carrying Suning at Worlds 2020

Suning jungler Lê “SofM” Duy has been a pleasure to watch at Worlds. As the only Vietnamese player at the tournament, SofM has made his region proud after the VCS teams couldn’t attend due to travel restrictions.

The Vietnamese talent has showcased a hyper-aggressive playstyle in the jungle and it has been the key for Suning’s victories. SofM has the biggest CS differential at 10 minutes with 22.3 CS, while also placing the most wards per minute among all junglers alongside Gen.G’s Kim “Clid” Tae-min.

If SofM continues his dominance in the jungle, Suning might be able to make an unexpected run at the tournament. So far, they are neck-to-neck with LEC’s G2 Esports in group A.
