The tallest pro gamers across esports and streaming

Reading time: 3 min

It’s hard to tell how tall gamers really are when you usually see them hunched over a keyboard, deep in concentration.

Physical size has very little to do with gaming ability, but some of the most skilled gamers in the world would look right at home on a basketball court. The tallest esports stars can be found across League of Legends, Counter-Strike: Global Offensive, Dota 2, and many other games, and they won’t be missing out on any roller coasters. These are the tallest professional gamers across esports and gaming entertainment.

Herschel “Dr DisRespect” Beahm IV – 6′ 8″

The bombastic king of streaming’s height matches his larger-than-life persona. His shrimp-like posture when scoring battle royale dubs belies his impressive height. He’s roughly as tall as a full-grown camel.

When he’s sitting courtside in full regalia, Dr DisRespect’s height makes him stand out even from the players. 6′ 8″ puts him on the same level as Boston Celtics forward Jayson Tatum. It should be no surprise that he played NCAA basketball in his younger years.

Martin “Saksa” Sazdov – 6′ 8″

OG’s soft support has made quite a name for himself since joining the two-time The International champions. His gargantuan height is proof that video games don’t stunt physical growth. He claims to have started playing StarCraft at the age of three. Dota 2 has several towering players in its top tier, but Saksa still looks down upon them all.

Janusz “Snax” Pogorzelski – 6’ 6”

Anonymo captain Janusz “Snax” Pogorzelski is best known for his super sneaky playstyle. But he has a much easier time sneaking around in CSGO compared to real-life thanks to his estimated 201-centimeter height.

Snax’s huge height was always amusing to see when compared with his average-sized teammate Michał “MICHU” Müller. Between him and Jarosław “pashaBiceps” Jarząbkowski, the classic Virtus.pro lineup would be the favorites for a CSGO team bar brawl.

Jesper ‘Zven’ Svenningsen – 6’ 6”

Cloud 9’s League of Legends team got a lot more player than it bargained for when it acquired star bot-laner Jesper “Zven” Svenningsen. The decorated carry cut his teeth in the early days of pro LoL under the alias “Niels.” He now uses his mechanical skills to put his foes in the LCS six feet deep. If Zven himself stood in such a hole, he’d still be able to see out from the top of it.

Clement “Puppey” Ivanov – 6′ 5″

Ending our list at a relatively modest 6’ 5” is the mastermind of the Team Secret dynasty. Clement “Puppey” Ivanov is arguably the best Dota 2 player of all time, but he also stakes a claim to being the tallest person inscribed on the Aegis of Champions.

His height coincides with the iconic image of a stern but confident Secret captain literally leaning over his players. It also gives his death glares a certain “oomph” that other captains can only hope to imitate.
