Though consoles have traditionally held an advantage in certain areas, PC gamers have the ability to play every genre there is, from fighting games to slots to rhythm games.

And despite some hurdles to game development over the last two years, there are still plenty of major releases set for the final months of 2021. Here are some of the biggest games set to arrive on PC later this year.

Halo Infinite

The Halo franchise has been around for many years and while it was long brushed off for being based on Xbox consoles, it has earned more than a little respect at this point. Halo Infinite is a new chapter that gives players a chance to take their game to the next level, and possibly see the end of the franchise.

It will launch simultaneously on PC, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S, and it’s guaranteed to be massive in the esports arena. Those looking to jump into the armor of a Spartan right now can do so by picking up Halo: The Master Chief Collection, which includes six different past games from the franchise in one package.

Diablo 2 Resurrected

Despite being just revealed at BlizzCon 2021, also known as BlizzConline, in February, Diablo 2 Resurrected is set to be released in full later this year on PC and major consoles. The game is an absolute classic and being able to return to it has fans of the franchise drooling in anticipation. There are some concerns as Blizzard is starting to prune features that it promised would be a part of the game, something that led to a disastrous launch for Warcraft 3: Reforged. Still, Blizzard certainly learned its lesson after that, right? Right?

Brawlhalla

This isn’t a new game, but it’s one that more people need to try out. Brawlhala is a platform fighter that has attracted a massive audience since its launch in 2017.

Brawlhala is available for Xbox One, PS4, and Nintendo Switch, and can be picked up on PC via Steam. It’s action-packed and has a wide variety of characters including Hellboy, John Cena, and the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. There is plenty to love about Brawlhala and if you don’t have it yet, go out and get it.
