The Fallout TV show has an official release date
Amazon’s Fallout TV show is finally getting a release date.
Bethesda revealed the very first look at an upcoming Fallout television show at Gamescon in August. Since then, fans of the apocalyptic RGP have been dying to learn more about the live action adaptation but it was unfortunately silent.
Now, a new announcement is here.
When is the Fallout TV show coming out?
On October 23, also known as Fallout Day, Bethesda announced that the Fallout TV series will premiere on April 12, 2024.
The show will only be streaming on Prime Video.
What is the Fallout TV show about?
The plot of the Fallout TV series is not currently known. From the teaser, it looks like it will follow the same general plot of the video game series, with factions fighting in a post-war world that’s been destroyed by radiation.
A Vault Dweller will leave a vault to see the dangerous world around them for the first time. They wander through an abandoned western town and you see Brotherhood of Steel soldiers walking around. The teaser also showed a quick glimpse at a ghoul, a person who has been transformed by severe radiation.
The show will take place in Los Angeles, starting in Vault 33.
The show is being produced by Todd Howard, Bethesda’s executive producer and game director. This has fans hopeful that it will be accurate to Fallout’s original vibe and characters.
What is Fallout Day?
Fallout Day is an annual celebration of the Fallout game series. This is the date that marks the Great War within the game’s lore. The Great War is what led to the world being wiped out by an irradiated wasteland.
