The 2023 Steam Summer Sale is finally here, and the best deals on AAA games will get your stocked up until winter.

The Summer Sale is the biggest Steam event of the year. It cuts the prices of hundreds, if not thousands, of video games with options for every type of gamer. Whether you’re looking to pick up fan-favorite indie titles or grab the latest AAA release for cheap, we’ve rounded up the best deals of the event and laid them out for you to see.

The Summer Sale is live from June 29, 2023 to July 13, with the exact end time being 10 am PST. All of the prices listed here are locked in until that date, and the featured titles probably won’t go on sale for some time after it ends.

The best AAA deals of the Summer Sale

While the Summer Sale is a great time to stock up on indie darlings, AAA games take center stage as the best deals on offer. Here are a few of the standout picks from the top tier of the sale:

  • Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 – $39 (45% off)
  • Final Fantasy XIV: Complete Edition – $30 (50% off)
  • Hogwarts Legacy – $48 (20% off)
  • NBA 2K23 – $10 (84% off)
  • Star Wars: Jedi Survivor – $52.49 (25% off)
  • Wo Long: Fallen Dynasty – $45 (25% off)

Several of these titles have been released in the past couple of months, making their steep markdowns all the more pleasant to see. Hogwarts Legacy is the best-selling game of the year, and it’s now available at a modest 25% off. NBA 2K23 has the best deal of any major release this Summer Sale, with the base title going for just $10. The Michael Jordan Edition, which includes tons of boosts and in-game currency, is also cheap at $25.

Indie games to buy during the Steam Summer Sale

In addition to mainstream titles, the Steam Summer Sale also offers players a chance to get more personal games for cheap. Here are the best deals on smaller titles we could find for the Summer Sale:

  • Neon White – $17.50 (30% off)
  • Phasmophobia – $11 (20% off)
  • LISA: The Painful – $16 (20% off)
  • Only Up! – $7 (30% off)
  • Ultrakill – $19 (25% off)
  • BPM: Bullets Per Minute – $5 (75% off)
  • Vampire Survivors – $4 (25% off)
  • Omori – $15 (25% off)

These titles are already cheap, so being on sale makes them extremely affordable, even for players on tight budgets. Ultrakill and Vampire Survivors are probably the most content-per-dollar of this list, while Omori and LISA offer melancholic and bittersweet stories, respectively.
