Team Liquid announces Pobelter as temporary jungler for LCS
Team Liquid has announced Eugene “Pobelter” Park as its temporary starting jungler for the 2020 LCS Spring season.
Desperate times demand desperate measures and Team Liquid could not be more desperate. After announcing that Danish jungler Mads “Broxah” Brock-Pedersen
was still in the process of getting his visa approved, Team Liquid had to find a replacement. The organization shared that Team Liquid Academy jungler Shern “Shernfire” Cherng Tai was also going through the same process, so he couldn’t replace Broxah either.
Team Liquid brings back Pobelter
The organization considered
top laner Ashkan “TF Blade” Homayouni, but ultimately decided to go with Pobelter. The former mid laner exited the team back in 2018 when Nicolaj “Jensen” Jensen was signed. Pobelter played for a year with FlyQuest and was dropped by the team that signed Tristan “PowerOfEvil” Schrage.
In the offseason, Pobelter shared a long statement where he revealed that he couldn’t find a team to join. Weeks later,
Team Liquid announced Pobelter as a position coach. Now, the mid laner turned coach must get back to the action as a temporary jungler.
Not having Broxah not only affects the team’s performance through the competition but also the preparation previous to the 2020 LCS Spring. The rest of the players are already back in California after a brief vacation and must start to train for the new season. Unfortunately, the training process will take place without the new jungler.
Team Liquid clarified that the situation is temporary and that it is possible that Broxah gets his visa before the start of the season. If that’s the case, Pobelter will get back to his coaching duties and Broxah will play.
Not having its jungler will significantly affect the performance of the team in the early stages of the competition. Team Liquid has been the best team in North America for the past two years and it would be disappointing if the team fell in 2020.
The 2020 LCS Spring starts on January 25 and will run through April 19 when the champion will be crowned. This year,
the competition introduced a new format
that includes Monday Night League, a broadcast that will feature two LCS matches.

T1 exposes Karmine Corp with 3-0 win at League of Legends MSI 2026
Wasif Ahmed
T1 just beat Karmine Corp 3-0 in the play-in stage of the 2026 Mid-Season Invitational. More importantly, T1 turned KC’s strengths into weaknesses. The bot lane and teamfight prowess that shone in the LEC were no match this time. The match started with Karmine Corp picking a disrespectful draft, blind picking three immobile squishies. Right off the bat, a botched invade put their jungle and bot lane at a disadvantage. ...
