Rogue and Misfits Gaming will meet on Summoner’s Rift in the second week of the 2021 LEC season, with Rogue looking to stay undefeated.Â
As week two of the 2021 LEC Spring Split kicks off, Rogue will fight to stay undefeated after an impressive first week. Misfits, on the other hand, finished the first week with a 2-1 record, so beating Rogue would put them in a good spot in the standings moving forward. Both teams made significant roster changes in the offseason and it currently seems like both teams have gotten stronger compared to last year.Â
Rogue entered the season as a real contender to compete for the LEC trophy. In 2020, Rogue didn’t win any trophies but got to attend the 2020 World Championship. In 2021, Rogue will look to continue its development and maybe reach the first LEC final in organization history.Â
With the same strong core of mid laner Emil “Larssen” Larsson, bot laner Steven “Hans Sama” Liv, and jungler Kacper “Inspired” SĹ‚oma, Rogue already has a lot of synergies to play off of. Pairing those three with experienced top laner Andrei “Odoamne” Pascu already seems like an upgrade, while young support Adrian “Trymbi” Trybus is looking better in every game he plays.Â
Going up against Rogue seems hard for any team in the LEC, so Misfits will have to post its best game of the season to keep up. During the first week, Misfits started out by beating Fnatic, which is a big sign of improvement. Misfits would, later on, lose a close match to Vitality, but ended the week on a good note against MAD Lions.Â
So far, the bot lane of Kasper “Kobbe” Kobberup and Oskar “Vander” Bogdan seems strong and will likely be where Misfits puts its focus. Misfits rookie mid laner Vincent “Vetheo” BerriĂ© has gotten off to a good start, especially on Zoe where he made an amazing outplay against Fnatic. With several experienced players on the squad and a fearless mid laner, Misfits could pull off an upset against Rogue.Â

Misfits Gaming roster:
After going 3-0 during the first week of the LEC, it’s no surprise that Rogue will be the big favorite going into this matchup. Rogue was roundly strong during week one, while Misfits had some inconsistent moments. With that said, Misfits has the individual skill to upset Rogue but it would require something extraordinary from the team. This is why a win for Rogue only gives odds 1.41 while a Misfits win gives odds 2.68.Â
