Riot Games changes PBE account requirements ahead of Season 10
Getting a PBE account is easier than ever before with the most recent change to Riot Games’ PBE requirements.
Let’s start with the basics: What is the PBE?
The Public Beta Environment (PBE) is a sever Riot Games tests their changes to League of Legneds before those updates hit the live server. Players on the PBE will get an opportunity to experience new mechanics, items, and other changes before anyone else. Some of these changes don’t make it to the live server if the developer considers it to not be sufficiently balanced.
PBE accounts are used to play exclusively on the testing server. These are linked directly to a user’s main League of Legends account, they’re not interchangeable, and players can only get one. It’s not possible for a player to create a PBE account without a League of Legends account, and not all players are eligible for the PBE server.
Who can have a PBE account in League of Legends
The server is reserved for the game’s honorable players, so those that tend to exhibit toxic behavior and get reported often cannot access the new features in advance. Recently, Riot Games reduced the requirements so that more players can access the PBE. Players with Honor 2 and above are eligible for a PBE account. Players can go to the
PBE Sign Up
site to check their eligibility.
Playing on the PBE is the best way to get ready for the changes coming in Season 10. Right now, TFT Set 2: Rise of the Elements and the updated Summoner’s Rift map are all available on the PBE. Rise of the Elements will completely change both game modes as we know them, with Teamfight Tactics in particular new champions, origins, and classes.
The Summoner’s Rift ranked season ends on November 19. TFT’s ranked system will be disabled on November 6 when Patch 9.22 comes online with the Rise of the Elements update.

T1 exposes Karmine Corp with 3-0 win at League of Legends MSI 2026
Wasif Ahmed
T1 just beat Karmine Corp 3-0 in the play-in stage of the 2026 Mid-Season Invitational. More importantly, T1 turned KC’s strengths into weaknesses. The bot lane and teamfight prowess that shone in the LEC were no match this time. The match started with Karmine Corp picking a disrespectful draft, blind picking three immobile squishies. Right off the bat, a botched invade put their jungle and bot lane at a disadvantage. ...

KeSPA Cup returns in July 2026 exclusively on Disney+
Hannan Mundia
The KeSPA Cup is slated to return sooner than most expected, though its date and exclusive Disney+ partnership raises some questions. The KeSPA Cup is an annual tournament organized directly by the Korea e-Sports Association. While it doesn’t get nearly as much attention as Riot-organized leagues and events, LCK powerhouses still participate in it. 2025’s KeSPA Cup is still fairly fresh since it took place in December. This year’s tournament ...
