Year 6 Season 4 of Rainbow Six Siege is bringing a new operator into the fray. Brianna “Thorn” Skehan is an intelligent and powerful defender with a proximity-based explosion ability.
The short yet action-packed Thorn reveal video highlighted the operator’s role in the first-person shooter. She has the Razorbloom Shell explosive as her ability and comes with an SMG5 MK2.

Thorn is an Irish operator that’s known for her dedication and stubbornness. She “doesn’t take anyone’s rubbish,” according to a short post about the new recruit.
Thorn is known for motivating her teammates, pushing them to do their best. She is said to be very helpful underneath her tough exterior. She has a “smile and hug for her pals” but anyone who messes with her will only experience pain. When Thorn drops, the other operators will have to push themselves just to keep up with her.
Outback has removed from Rainbow Six Siege’s ranked playlist for a while. Now, developers are looking to make the map a bit more fair to players with a big map rework.
According to senior level designer Jeremy Dowsett, Outback was “hard to navigate” for a lot of players. The map will now be “decluttered,” especially entry at its points. 1F convenience store, 1F compressor room, 1F gear store, and 1F beer fridge will be combined down into two areas, now known as bike repair and mechanic shop. 1F restaurant has been moved inside. The stairs in 2F piano room have been removed. All of these changes should combine to make for a better experience for players.
