Pokemon 25th anniversary celebration brings live Post Malone show
Pokemon 25th anniversary celebration brings live Post Malone show
Pokemon’s 25th anniversary celebration has been full of surprises, and the next one may be the biggest yet.
First, Pokemon announced a collaboration with McDonald’s, leading to 50 new special edition cards that could only be found within a Happy Meal. But instead of it being a wholesome and exciting event, it turned into mass scalping, with Pokemon sellers going from McDonald’s to McDonald’s to buy out all of the Happy Meals in stock.
Then Pokemon revealed a 25th-anniversary concert with Post Malone as the headliner. This was another curveball, although this one will most likely be a bit of a more positive experience for fans of all ages.
Post Malone has been a Pokemon fan for a long time, so he was excited to be featured in the anniversary concert for other Pokemon fans. The “Circles” rapper still plays Pokemon on his Game Boy Color.
Post Malone becomes Pokemon trainer for virtual concert
Post Malone is no stranger to virtual concerts. He hosted his own last spring, dedicating the show to Nirvana. But this time, Post Malone will become an animated Pokemon trainer, complete with face tattoos and jewelry.
“The Pokemon team put in so much work. This is one of the coolest things I’ve been a part of. There may be some surprises, too. It’s going to be a lot of fun,” Post Malone told
Billboard.
There’s even a rumor that the rapper will be performing his own original Pokemon-themed song.

While waiting for the concert, Pokemon trainers with the Pokemon GO app can buy tickets for the
Pokemon GO Tour: Kanto event. This event is a nod to the classic Pokemon games.
Starting on February 25, trainers can get a password from the Pokemon Company, allowing them to download a special Pikachu to their Pokemon Sword & Shield games. The Pikachu comes knowing Sing.
Before the concert on February 27, Pokemon will stream a music-themed Pokemon animated series. The marathon will be on Pokemon TV. Then the Post Malone concert will start at 4 PM PST. This is available on Pokemon’s YouTube and Twitch channels, as well as on the official
website.
There will be additional announcements for the Post Malone concert before February 27.

This is less because of a lack of creativity or skill, but more because lesser-known developers don’t usually have the required backing to come into the spotlight. Fortunately for Degen Lab, Stake has partnered to ...
