Persona is a popular series of RPG games that have captivated audiences since 1996.
Atlus, the developer behind the series, has consistently released games. Atlus tends to revisit its games and release enhanced versions, in the middle, they drop the occasional new game. The perfect example is Persona 4, which came out between the releases of Persona 3 FES and Persona 3 Portable.
It’s been six years since the release of Persona 5, which has three additional versions, including Persona 5 Royal. Needless to say, we’re due for a new Persona game, and it might be coming sooner than expected.
Persona 6 is yet to be confirmed by Atlus, but if the rumors hold any truth, the game might be far along in production.
Persona 6 release date
There isn’t a confirmed release date for Persona 6. According to the rumors, the announcement of the game could happen next summer. The leaker, who fans believe to be a credible source, shared that the announcement keeps getting pushed. Fans are speculating that an announcement for Persona 6 could’ve taken place during the 25th celebration in October 2022.
If the game is announced during the summer, we could be working with a winter release. Meaning that Persona 6 could come out in 2023 unless Atlus delays the game for 2024.
The rumors also talked about a Persona 3 remake. It is unclear if it will be a full remake of the game or just a remastered version of the original game.

What is Persona 6 about?

Persona 6 could be the first game to be released for multiple platforms at the same time, or PlayStation players will get the privilege to play it first. Regardless of which route Atlus decides to take, the game will come out for other platforms at some point.
