Overwatch 2 players no longer have to aim after Season 9 update
Overwatch 2 Season 9 came with some shocking gameplay changes that have left the community in shambles. This includes heroes shooting bigger bullets, leading competitive players to claim you no longer need to aim.
In the new era of Overwatch 2, every hero has self healing and the bullets are bigger — and players are largely not pleased after seeing the changes in action.
Overwatch 2 Season 9 bullet size changes leave players concerned
After becoming concerned with the bigger bullets in the latest update, many players took to the game’s practice range to see how this has impacted the game. While some heroes don’t seem drastically different, other heroes appear to be able to shoot the air and still get headshots.
In the above video, you can clearly see the aim is way far off but Overwatch 2 streamer Flats was still able to hit enemies, even landing headshots when his gun was aimed way above their head.
Right now, players feel like the aiming in Overwatch 2 is too easy. If you don’t even have to line up your sights, it feels like aiming isn’t even necessary with some heroes. While new health increases will ensure some heroes don’t die form single headshots anymore, this is overall a pretty game-changing update.
Blizzard has yet to respond to the ongoing concern from Overwatch players.
