The official Overwatch Twitter recently revealed that the second Overwatch 2 beta is coming soon, and bringing new content along with it. This second Overwatch 2 beta will be accessible to many more players than before, with sign-ups soon to open.

When is the Overwatch 2 beta?

The second Overwatch 2 beta is starting on June 28. Sign-ups for the next Overwatch 2 beta will begin on June 16.

June 16 is the day that developers have long-promised will bring more information about the Overwatch 2 release date and beta timeline. This includes details about the next Overwatch 2 beta period and who will be able to participate in it.

What is included in the Overwatch 2 beta?

More information will be revealed on June 16, but developers have already dropped a few hints at what’s to come on June 28 and in the new Overwatch 2 beta period.

Junker Queen will be available for players to test out for the first time, allowing the Overwatch community to see the new tank hero’s ability kit and to learn how she fits into the new 5v5 meta of Overwatch 2. There will also be a new map, although no further details have yet been revealed on the new map.

Who can sign up for the Overwatch 2 beta?

The new Overwatch 2 beta has answered many of the community’s pleas and will includeconsole players this time around. This currently means that gamers on PC, Xbox, and PlayStation systems should all be able to sign up for the new Overwatch 2 beta.

Nintendo Switch has not been listed or mentioned anywhere, although Overwatch 2 remains set to launch on the portable system when it comes out in October. The specifics of who can join the Overwatch 2 beta will most likely be clarified on June 16, including whether or not Switch players will be invited.

How do I sign up for the Overwatch 2 beta?

Blizzard will most likely provide a link for players interested in signing up for the Overwatch 2 beta. To sign up for the Overwatch 2 beta, players will just need to follow Blizzard’s official links. There will also be additional ways to gain access to the Overwatch 2 beta as there were last time, although the details are not available as of yet. This could include Twitch drops, invites from live YouTube streams, and more.
