A new skin collection in Valorant has been revealed, and Riot Games may have hit a home run with this one. The new Valorant Neptune bundle comes with live fishes that live in your guns.

The past few Valorant skin bundles have been regarded as a let down by some players given unoriginal ideas and large price tags. Riot Games has been releasing minimal skins with no visual effects, leaving a bad taste in the mouth of buyers. The most recent RGX 11z Pro 2 bundle was a hit, but it didn’t bring anything new to the table.

That called for Riot to make a splashy set of cosmetics. A brand new skin collection has been unveiled in Neptune: a weapon line featuring tiny aquariums within the guns.

Riot reveals new premium Valorant skins with Neptune bundle

The ocean-themed Neptune bundle isn’t anything like the Depths collection. It has live fish, seaweed, bubbling water, and sound effects. The weapons are quite literally tiny aquariums, something that Riot teased a few days ago. However, the teaser highlighted “Aquarium week,” so the Neptune collection could be the first of many surprises to come.

The guns have small compartments on top lined with metal, with fishes swimming around colorful plants. The borders are encrusted with golden piping and emblems. The vibrant pools contrast with the dark metal body of the Neptune line. While the overall look is fresh and delightful, players are primarily pleased with the special effects. Riot Games shared a video showcasing skin mechanics, and it has distinct fire audio.

The sound element is also notable, which hints that this bundle will likely land in the premium tier with the VFX finisher. The melee is another selling point of the Neptune bundle. A pickaxe-like knife completes this unique collection, which is also decorated with a golden star badge.

Neptune skins will be available for:

  • Guardian
  • Vandal
  • Shorty
  • Spectre
  • Melee

How much does the Neptune bundle cost?

The exact cost hasn’t yet been revealed, but each gun in the Neptune collection will likely be priced at 1,775 Valorant points. The melee may cost 3,550 VP.

This would land the Neptune bundle among some of the pricier skin options in Valorant. For big spenders, these will likely be worth the price.
