The new 2v2v2v2 LoL game mode has gotten a trailer, and it revealed that it’s coming to League of Legends very soon with its very own skin line.
League of Legends is a game with very few game modes. There’s Summoner’s Rift, All Random All Mid, and anything you can put together in a custom lobby. Previous game modes like Dominion, Nexus Blitz, and rotating seasonal content like Poro King, Black Market Brawlers, Hexakill, and more have all come and gone.
It’s been known that Riot Games was producing a new 2v2v2v2 casual game mode with some big twists. Now there’s an animated trailer, a release date, and tons to be excited about.
The New LoL game mode, a 2v2v2v2 arena brawler mode where players pick Teamfight Tactics-style Augments to empower their champion, is coming on July 20.
The new game mode will also come with a high fantasy skin line inspired by fighting game Soul Fighter. The animated trailer shows an enormous arena packed with fans, granting glimpses at familiar champions with new spins. Sett, Qiyana, Draven, Samira, and Lee Sin are all seen. The new mode will be a four-team duos mode with unique upgrades.

The new mode promises to breathe fresh air into casual League of Legends. It will offering a shorter game time and more variable experience than the other modes, a much needed improvement.
