Using Pokémon with moves that exploit Falinks’ weaknesses will give you an edge. Some Pokémon are legitimate counters. Those counters are as follows:

  • Rayquaza: Using Air Slash (Flying-type) and Dragon Ascent (Flying-type) results in powerful attacks
  • Dawn Wings Necrozma: Using Psycho Cut (Pschic-type) and Moongeist Beam (Ghost-type) works well.
  • Mewtwo: Deploy Psycho Cut (Psychic-type) and Psystrike (Psychic-type)
  • Galarian Articuno: Again, Psycho Cut (Psychic-type) and Brave Bird (Flying-type) works wonders
  • Tapu Lele: Use Confusion (Psychic-type) and Nature’s Madness (Fairy-type) for effectiveness
  • Enamorus: Opt for Fairy Wind (Fairy-type) and Fly (Flying-type) for better chance at success

Shadow and Mega counters

For those with access to Shadow and Mega Pokémon, succeeding a Falinks raid is easier. The following choices proven to be very effective are:

  • Mega Rayquaza
  • Shadow Mewtwo
  • Mega Alakazam
  • Mega Gengar
  • Mega Gardevoir
  • Shadow Lugia

Using the Flying-type or Psychic-type move is your best bet against the Falinks raid. This will net you more chance at success. Further more, you can use the following as boosts and bonuses for your battles:

  • Weather Boost: Check the weather condition in-game, as flying and psychic moves can be boosted by specific weather types
  • STAB Bonus: Using Pokémon with moves of the same type as their Pokémon (STAB) can increase damage output further.
