LoL Preseason 2023’s jungle changes are now live on PBE server
Riot Games released the LoL Preseason 2023 on PBE and players are getting a glimpse at all the changes coming with Season 13.
Riot is getting ahead of schedule and releasing the LoL Preseason 2023 content earlier than in previous years. According to the dev’s notes, the goal is to get as much feedback from the community as possible. Riot is looking to avoid situations like the 2022 Chemtech Drake debacle that forced the developer to remove it from the game.
The Chemtech Drake in question is making its glorious return to Summoner’s Rift in 2023. The Chemtech Drake will grant Tenacity and Healing/Shield. The reworked soul grants bonus damage when the champion is below certain health. These changes also include a new map design for the Chemtech soul.
Other map updates include a new range for the Blast Cones. Honey Fruits will change their name to Stim Fruits and will grant shields.
LoL Season 13 is introducing changes that will critically affect the Jungle role. New players in the role are getting help navigating the jungle like the leashing range indicators, so they know how far they can pull a camp. The game will also suggest jungle paths based on the champion the player is commanding.
The communications tool will get an upgrade, including a new Ping Wheel with new pings Push, All-In, Hold, and Bait. Teams can also vote on whether to fight for objectives or not. LoL Preseason 2023 also includes new mythic items. All content is in early development and will be changed before the official start of LoL Season 13.
When League of Legends season ends 2022?
LoL Season 12 will end in November 2022 and at that point, the changes will hit the live server. In the meantime, players can test the new content in the PBE server.
Can you still climb in preseason?
Players can climb during the preseason but once the competitive season starts, all ranks will reset.
