The first two days of League of Legends’ All-Star Las Vegas 2019 event have finished. The three-day event features a number of festivities including a one-on-one tournament, a Teamfight Tactics charity event, and several other showcases.

The highlight to this point has been a pair of regional rivalry showmatches. Fans had a chance to enjoy two proper five-on-five games that pitted the LCS against the LEC, and the LCK against the LPL. As expected, the Europeans topped the Americans while the Koreans got a bit of revenge on China

LEC All-Stars take the win against LCS

The 2019 LoL European Championship All-Stars team included Rasmus “Caps” Winther, Marcin “Jankos” Jankowski, Damian “Nervarien” Ziaja, Frederik “Noway” Hinteregger, and Gabriël “Bwipo” Rau. The European team took down Bae “Bang” Jun-sik, Tyler “Tyler1” Steinkamp, Zachary “Sneaky” Scuderi, and the rest of the 2019 LoL Championship Series All-Stars team in only 26 minutes.

Europe was dominant across all lanes, although the LCS’s Hammoudi “Yassuo” Abdalrhman and Sneaky picked up a fair number of kills as well.

The draft phase was far from regular, as is expected at All-Stars. Jankos got 13 kills playing Ziggs in the top lane, Tyler1 unsuccessfully played Ivern bot, and Noway pulled out Gangplank against Yassuo’s mid Irelia. The LCS All-Stars didn’t manage to take a single dragon or turret from the LEC team, which finished the game with a 10,000 gold lead.

LCK proves itself against back-to-back Worlds winners LPL

Although LPL teams have been crowned world champions the last two seasons, the Chinese side fell behind the LoL Champions Korea All-Stars in 27 minutes. Both teams had big names on the roster, with Lee “Faker” Sang-hyeok and Hong “MadLife” Min-gi representing the LCK, and Kim “Doinb” Tae-sang and Jian “Uzi” Zi-Hao playing for the LPL.

Many expected this to be a more competitive match than the EU vs. NA feature, but China didn’t seem to stand a chance against the Korean stars. With a 12,000 gold lead, 25 more kills, and a number of entertaining plays, the LCK finished the LPL off in impressive fashion.

One last day of festivities remains for this years’ All-Star event. Fans will be able to enjoy the finale of the one-on-one tournament, more URF games, the pro showdown, and more.
