Riot Games is boosting the incentive for playing casual game modes in Valorant by introducing a daily reward system.

Valorant’s most-played game mode is ranked, but not everyone has the time to commit to a 30-minute-long session. So, busy players often play Spike Rush, Swiftplay, Escalation, and other game modes to kill time. Unfortunately, the incentive for playing these games is pretty low. For this reason, many dedicated Valorant players prefer to avoid wasting time in casual modes.

But Riot is planning to change that, according to credible leaker ValorMike. The daily reward system will incentivize players fairly to invest time in casual modes.

How does the daily reward system work in Valorant?

Riot hasn’t officially revealed how the system would work, but leaks point at a Diamond system. Each day, four Diamond points will be up for grabs, each offering 100 XP. Besides that, players will also get daily bonuses.

By playing side modes, players will be able to unlock battle pass rewards quicker and will be rewarded for playing anything other than ranked. This new system will surely make the casual mode an attractive option even for serious players. Even ranked demons sometimes want a break from the cut-throat grind and just chill with friends. Valorant’s side modes are fun, but the reward was just not enough to rope in competitive players.

With the daily rewards, players may spend quality time while earning valuable diamonds daily. These are all leaks, and the official reward system may look different. The new system hasn’t officially been announced yet, but players should hear something from Riot soon.

What are all the game modes in Valorant?

Valorant currently has five game modes: Competitive, Unrated, Spike Rush, slot for PVP, and Deathmatch, along with a Practice Range. Overall, Valorant has nine modes, if you include Snowball fight, Replication, and Escalation — since the three games switch slots in intervals. Riot likes to add new games regularly, and Swiftplay is the new favorite.
