LCS host Dash to dye hair if Team Liquid goes undefeated
LCS host Dash to dye hair if Team Liquid goes undefeated
Team Liquid has to win just 12 more games and LCS host James “Dash” Patterson will dye his hair.
Team Liquid is undefeated in the spring split with a 6-0 record. This includes an opening victory against their biggest rivals, Cloud9.
This strong start to the season had Dash tweeting about Team Liquid’s successful three weeks, joking that “those Team Liquid guys are pretty good.” This prompted an immediate response from the team just one minute later, asking if Dash would allow Team Liquid CEO Steve Arhancet to dye Dash’s hair to Liquid’s team colors if they finished the regular season undefeated.
Dash was hesitant at first, but the League of Legends community was quick to encourage the arrangement. Shoutcaster Sam “Kobe” Hartman-Kenzler even chimed in.
“That’s a yes from us here at the analyst desk. The fate of Dash’s hair is in your hands,” Kobe said.
Dash finally relented to the proposal, though he understandably clarified that he wouldn’t be allowing Steve Arhancet himself to do the dyeing.
A counterproposal then came in, adding an extra twist. Dash suggested that if Team Liquid doesn’t go undefeated, Arhancet has to join him for a post-game interview after the team’s first loss. The CEO called the terms fair, and sealed the deal with a handshake emoji.
Dash is well-known for his immaculately prepared hair at the LCS desk. He has said people often ask him for his biggest tip in styling men’s hair, and his answer is to simply buy a hairdryer. If you want your hair to do something, Dash advised, blow dry it in that position and it will stick there.
Team Liquid fans are hoping he’ll be adding some new color care products to his daily hair routine by the end of the split.
