Sony has confirmed that Insomniac’s Spider-Man Remastered is swinging to PC for the first time. Here’s everything that the web-slinging superhero will bring for the players.
Superhero games are many, but only a few allow you to swing across the big apple in a sturdy Spider spsuit. PC players have long been hearing about the impeccable combat experience and smooth movement mid-air in Insomniac’s Spider-Man, and they’ll finally experience it first hand. The action-packed superhero game is making its way to PC, bringing tons of DLC for players to sink their teeth in.
Players will get a chance to fight bad guys as Peter Parker in his iconic red spider suit, only this time, he’s much more skilled. The crime-fighting master is no longer a rookie. Here’s everything that has been remastered and updated in Insomniac’s latest Spider-Man installment.
When is Spider-Man Remastered coming to PC?
During a June 8 State of Play event, Sony announced that Spider-Man Remastered will become available for PC on August 12, 2022.

This news came with a 50-second-long trailer that provided a peek into a chaotic New York city soon to be festered with legendary villains in
the Marvel universe. Doctor Octavius, Mister Negative, Electro, Vulture, and more appeared in the teaser causing mayhem. The short trailer is fast-paced and packed with catchy dialogue and combat.
What’s new in Spider-Man remastered?
Spider-Man remastered will feature fast travel that should make web-slinging feel much smoother. The combat will also be much more advanced, bringing dynamic acrobatic and environmental interactions.
Sony included alpha footage in the trailer, but the details on characters were still fantastic. The remastered Spider-Man will have updated graphical assets and stunning visuals, making the Big Apple appear almost real. However, the most exciting part is likely the PC render settings. The
developer has teased
PC-specific features such as adjustable settings and ray-traced reflections that will make the PC experience unique.
Previous Spider-Man games were primarily lauded for their well-written storyline. Remastered should also keep the players hooked with a new angle where Spider-Man is much more skilled. The critically acclaimed hit has reimagined Peter Parker, painting him a much stronger superhero. The web head will be tackling villains left and right in the vibrant neighborhoods of New York City.
Will Spider-Man remastered PC have DLC?
Besides that, Spider-Man remastered will include The City That Never Sleeps DLC pack. This package will consist of three complex stories featuring Black Cat, Hammerhead, and Silver Sable, with additional missions and challenges for players to discover. Not just that, players can also equip additional suits, stacking up their Spider closet.
