"I really don't understand": Nadeshot calls out MW2 haters

100 Thieves content creator Matthew “Nadeshot” Haag is one of the few Call of Duty streamers to talk about Modern Warfare 2 positively.

Ever since Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 was released, the Call of Duty community has been full of complaints. Vocal players have criticized the game’s bugs, features, weapons, and content. This is not unusual for a popular video game, but Nadeshot is sick of hearing the ongoing negative feedback.

Nadeshot shuts down Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 hate

During a recent livestream, Nadeshot discussed his argument in favor of MW2. He said that after initially talking about MW2 on his podcast with Jack “CouRage” Dunlop, fans had “irrational” responses to his points.

“Guys, look… Why are we still talking about each Call of Duty every single year as if it’s the worst thing that’s ever been created? I mean, it’s Call of Duty. It’s really not all that different every single year. We know that the game won’t be finished when they released it and there would be problems with X, Y, and Z,” Nadeshot said.

While Nadeshot said he understood why there is criticism here and there, he felt the amount of backlash was over the top. Even though there are some issues, Nadeshot said that Modern Warfare 2 is good at its core, including the weapons and gameplay.

“You know what to expect at this point, so I really don’t understand where a lot of the hate comes from,” Nadeshot ranted.

Many of Nadeshot’s viewers agreed with his passionate statement. People in the chat agreed that there were some problems with MW2 but that the game was “a few changes away from being a good game,” the same sentiment year after year.

Nadeshot has been defending the game since it was launched, originally saying that “the games are fun.” He said at the time that he’s played every single Call of Duty and finds them all quite similar despite the various studios involved.

“If you enjoyed playing Call of Duty in the past, I promise you will enjoy playing Call of Duty in this game,” Nadeshot said.
