Huni and Clutch come up short against SKT at LoL Worlds 2019
SK Telecom T1 completely destroyed Clutch Gaming and remains undefeated at the 2019 League of Legends World Championship. Meanwhile, Heo “Huni” Seung-hoon couldn’t get revenge on his former team.
Clutch Gaming came into the match as the underdog, but things went even worse than one could have expected as they ran over the LCS team. SKT finished the first half of the group stage undefeated and is looking like the clear frontrunner in Group C.
SKT continues to dominate in LoL Worlds 2019
The group of death is not looking so deadly anymore. SKT and Royal Never Give Up seem to be a cut above, as Clutch and Fnatic are struggling to keep up.
The latest testament to that came as SKT slaughtered Clutch. The LCK champion was merciless, and proved that they can roll with a new composition and still be the top team in the group. This time around, SKT opted for a strong team fighting composition with a very aggressive look.
The first team fight came after just four minutes and set the mood for the rest of the game. Nam “Lira” Tae-yoo attempted a gank in the bottom lane, forcing Park “Teddy” Jin-seong and Lee “Effort” Sang-ho to retreat and wait for reinforcements. Lee “Faker” Sang-hyeok used his teleport to join the fray and proceeded to slaughter the Clutch players.
Huni joined as well, only to give up another free kill to SKT.
Faker and the rest of SKT continued to terrorize Clutch for another 22 minutes. Despite a strong 10,000 gold advantage, SKT was disciplined. They knew the win was in-hand, but still took the game seriously and avoided any over-aggressiveness that may have let things slip away.
A failed team fight around the first baron spawn sucked the life out of Clutch and illustrated how dominant SKT was by comparison. Four members of Clutch grouped up to face Faker, and not even then they could touch the unkillable demon king. In the meantime, the rest of SKT secured the baron and got ready to siege.
The victory was relatively slow due to SKT’s composition lacking siege potential, but they still closed the game and maintained first place in Group C.
Group C returns to the stage on October 19.

T1 exposes Karmine Corp with 3-0 win at League of Legends MSI 2026
Wasif Ahmed
T1 just beat Karmine Corp 3-0 in the play-in stage of the 2026 Mid-Season Invitational. More importantly, T1 turned KC’s strengths into weaknesses. The bot lane and teamfight prowess that shone in the LEC were no match this time. The match started with Karmine Corp picking a disrespectful draft, blind picking three immobile squishies. Right off the bat, a botched invade put their jungle and bot lane at a disadvantage. ...

KeSPA Cup returns in July 2026 exclusively on Disney+
Hannan Mundia
The KeSPA Cup is slated to return sooner than most expected, though its date and exclusive Disney+ partnership raises some questions. The KeSPA Cup is an annual tournament organized directly by the Korea e-Sports Association. While it doesn’t get nearly as much attention as Riot-organized leagues and events, LCK powerhouses still participate in it. 2025’s KeSPA Cup is still fairly fresh since it took place in December. This year’s tournament ...
