How to unlock Lunar New Year gifts in GTA Online

If you log in to GTA Online between January 19 and January 25, there will be some surprises waiting for you. Celebrate the Lunar New Year in GTA Online with a Rabbit mask, free to all players.

The Lunar New Year is a time for celebration, and GTA Online is taking the opportunity to reward its players. 2023 is the year of the Rabbit in the Chinese zodiac, so players will be receiving a special limited edition Rabbit mask. Red envelopes containing money are also part of the celebration and are handed by the adults to younger people. Rockstar Games is gifting their own version of the red envelopes with a bonus of $188,888 for players.

If you are looking to fully embrace the spirit of the rabbit, eat some Peyote Plants to temporarily transform into a furry little creature. Another free perk is a Lunar Year Rabbit tattoo, now available in all the tattoo shops. All 12 signs are available, but only the Rabbit tattoo is free.

Prime Gaming GTA Online rewards January 2023

Players with Prime Gaming will receive additional gifts during the Lunar New Year. Starting with the regular $125,000 that is delivered on a weekly basis for a $500,000 total. Players who logged in before January 25 received the Sprunk Snowflakes Festive sweater. The Twilight Paint Rabbit Mask will be available for claiming until February 22.

Prime Gaming is included with the Amazon Prime membership. There is plenty of in-game content for players to claim in different games, including League of Legends, Valorant, FIFA 23, GTA Online, Genshin Impact, and more. Follow the instructions to link your accounts and get ready to enjoy exclusive content every month.

GTA+ rewards January 2023

GTA+ is the subscription system in GTA Online, it includes several rewards and bonuses every month. Through February 15, players will receive $500,00 and additional items like:

• Taxi White Prismatic Pearl and Dark Holographic Chameleon Paints
• Yeti Year of the Rabbit Tee
• The Trippy Knife Skin
• The Trippy Baseball Bat Skin
• Acid Lab Equipment Upgrade
• Taxi Rides with a much shorter cooldown
• Vehicle Requests
• CEO/VIP Abilities
• Noh Painted Rabbit Mask

Taxis are the most recent addition to the game, unlocking a new source of income for players. GTA+ subscribers will receive twice the payment for every Taxi Job trip.

On the map, players will see Gun Vans, where they can get 40% off Body Armor.

GTA Online updates January 2023

GTA Online keeps adding content every month. In January, it added Taxis that players who are not GTA+ subscribers could buy. There are discounts between 30% and 50% on offices, Heist Masks, and properties.

The Gun Van renovated its arsenal of weapons but still includes the Railgun. The showrooms across Los Santos are now featuring new sets of cars, all available for purchase. Players who enjoy racing will receive twice the RP and money if they partake in Special Vehicle Races.

Players using PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S can use Taxi Service to fast travel. This option is only available for the enhanced version of the game.
