In Palworld, you need wheat seeds for the production of flour and consistent wheat plantation. But how do you get wheat seeds in Palworld?

There are multiple ways to get wheat seeds in Palworld but they all require effort and time. Other resources grow in the open world, but wheat seeds are different. They are crucial to breed pals, make cake, and grow your base. Thankfully, you only need three seeds to kick-start a wheat plantation.

Here’s how to get wheat seeds in Palworld:

  • Capture or defeat Pals that drop wheat seeds
  • Purchase from merchants

Pals that drop Wheat Seeds in Palword

The easiest way is to defeat Pals that drop wheat seeds as they wander nearby. These include:

  • Dinossom
  • Flopie
  • Bristla
  • Cinnamoth
  • Robinquill

Dinossoms are the easiest to find. You can locate the large grass Pal lurking near the spawn areas around the Fast Travel point (Plateau of Beginnings) or Rayne Syndicate Tower.

You can catch a Dinossoms to get the initial drop of wheat seeds and then use a Meat Cleaver to butcher it if you want more wheat seeds. It’s worth noting that you unlock the technology for the cleaver at level 12.

Alternatively, you may just purchase the wheat seeds from the merchant. Heading to the Small Settlement area, where the trader will sell you Palworld wheat seeds for 100 Gold. For three wheat seeds, you’ll need to pay 300 Gold. This is a time-saving method but slightly trickier since merchants are always wandering.

Once you have the seeds, you may start wheat plantation at level 15 by using the following ingredients:

  • 3 wheat seeds
  • 35 wood
  • 35 stone

You can now assign grass and water-type Pals to it to consistently farm wheat and take care of your plantation. You may also water the farm yourself, but deploying pals is more convenient.
