Ubisoft’s XDefiant is making waves in the first-person shooter community for its COD-like visuals and smooth gameplay. Unfortunately, some players haven’t been able to play the game due to a Delta-01 error.

Released on May 21, XDefiant has already impressed thousands of fans worldwide. Earlier poised as the COD killer, XDefiant has established its own identity as a mechanically superior shooter game in a short time. However, the journey hasn’t been smooth for everyone.

Regrettably, several players have encountered a Delta-01 error, a frustrating issue that hampers their ability to connect to the game servers. The error reads: “XDefiant services are not available at this time. Please try again later.”

The issue has been around for almost a week, and now XDefiant executive producer has acknowledged it.

XDefiant Delta-01 error: Fixed

According to the developer, the issue should be resolved by deleting the file proxy_v1.bin from the documents folder in the XDefiant download location.

As a potential solution, players can try switching to a European IP using VPNs. However, it’s important to note that the developer advises against playing the game with the VPN active. While these fixes have proven effective for some players, others are still encountering the Delta-01 error.

What is the Delta-01 error in XDefiant?

XDefiant Delta-01 error prevents players from connecting to game servers, even when the servers are up worldwide.

According to the players, the game runs smoothly on mobile hotspots but runs into issues on wired connections. Players speculate that this error is likely due to the lack of IPv6 support. However, the developer thinks that XDefiant should run fine on IPV4 as well.

But the majority of those encountering the issue have an IPV4 connection. It’s worth noting that some players on IPV6 are also facing the same error, so it’s tough to pinpoint the cause. Rest assured, the developers have taken notice of the error and are working on a fix.
